News from Women Leaders Forum:
Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley (WLF) will host the WOMEN BEHAVING BADLY…FOR GOOD! The WLF Museum Mixer will take place on Tuesday, November 14 at the Coachella Valley History Museum in Indio. The mixer is open to members and anyone interested in learning more about the organization.
This exhibit honors women in the Coachella Valley who worked hard over the years to do good things for their community. Often these women have had to fight or go against the social norms to dream the impossible, and through their tenacity, they made their dream happen. This exhibit features women of today as well as women from our past who have broken through barriers in various fields such as Aviation, Entrepreneurship, Health Care, Politics and more.
Local change-makers have been nominated by various charities and historical societies to be showcased in a special registry within the exhibit and published in the museum’s 2018 Periscope publication dedicated to the exhibit!
Join us at this Museum Mixer to hear from a few of our own local female leaders as they share tips about breaking through barriers to make your dream a reality. Tour of the Women Behaving Badly…For Good exhibit will be personally led by Patricia Korzec, Executive Director of the Coachella Valley History Museum.
