May 2nd we will be hosting a workshop in the City of Indio. The workshop will consist of our basic Sales and Use tax information/presentation, and also take an in depth look at sales tax changes in local cities, as well as the State. We will answer any questions from both BOE permit holders( small business owners), and City officials. I understand that the sales tax increase takes place in April, however the soonest date we were able to clear with our legal and reprographics department was May 2nd.
We have had a strong response from small business owners not understanding the changes, and we want to make sure that business owners in your city understand and comply with any tax changes. There will be several cities, that we will be conducting outreach to regarding this workshop, as the requests for information have been coming in from all over the valley.
When: May 2nd 10-11:00 am
Where: City of Indio-Location will be determined
Who: State, City officials, and Chamber of Commerce ( I will reach out to you individually for confirmation on this)
As soon as a location has been determined, email, and mail has been confirmed, I will send you all the flyer for distribution to LCMS, and Business lists.
