Message from Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS®:
The Palm Springs Regional Association of REALTORS® Special Events Committee will be hosting the Annual Harvest Auction, which will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23rd at the Mizell Senior Center in Palm Springs.
The perennial event, now in its ninth year, has become a holiday tradition for the local Association’s membership. Auction items consist of gift cards, artwork, and baked goods donated by REALTORS®, Affiliate members and local businesses. In addition, there will be a Treasure Chest raffle. The tickets are $25.00 each with two chances to win a gift basket.
The Auction will be the third and final fundraiser for 2017. In early summer, the Special Events Committee hosted “Feed the Hungry” campaign for The Community Food Bank in Palm Springs. They raised $10,270 in financial donations. The Spring Fling held in March and the upcoming Harvest Auction, raise money for the local charities, Sanctuary Palm Springs, the Boys and Girls Club Valley Wide and Desert Escrow Association Scholarship Fund.
When asked his thoughts on the upcoming event, PSRAR 2017 President Lucio Bernal responded, PSRAR’s yearly Harvest Auction generates excitement and fun. 2017 has been a banner year for fund raising.
