News from Habitat for Humanity:
On Saturday, March 4, from 8 am to 12 pm, Habitat for Humanity Coachella Valley will welcome twenty volunteers from the Rancho Mirage Rotary, plus volunteers from the Rancho Mirage High School Interact Club, to work on preparing an existing Habitat for Humanity home for new owners. The new owners have already been selected and are eager to move in. The home, at 74016 El Cortez Way, Palm Desert, has recently been vacated by the previous occupant. The volunteers will be clearing the landscape and cleaning the interior of the house.
Since 1989, Habitat for Humanity of the Coachella Valley has partnered with families in the Coachella Valley to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter, by building and rehabilitating homes throughout the valley.
