The 13th annual Greater Palm Springs Economic Summit is expecting record attendance this year. Long known as the premier business event of the year, it draws more than 800 of the region’s business, civic, and education leaders.
The Summit is hosted by the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP) and presented by Desert Regional Medical Center and JFK Memorial Hospital. A limited number of tickets remain. Dr. Manfred Keil, Professor at Claremont McKenna College, will deliver the Annual Economic Report and Forecast.
Manfred Keil, Ph.D., an expert in comparative economics with extensive knowledge of the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley, will deliver the 2017 annual economic report and forecast. Dr. Keil is an associate professor of economics at Claremont McKenna College and former chairman of the faculty at the college’s Robert Day School of Economics and Finance. He specializes in banking, comparative economic performance, macroeconomics, and statistics, and his research has appeared in the Journal of Macroeconomics, Oxford Economic Papers, Southern Economic Journal, and Canadian Public Policy.
