News from the GCVCC:
The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce is on the move! In an effort to maximize efficiency and communication, GCVCC staff will be moving offices next week to better align with their job duties and core teams. Here is a brief overview of team movement:
Coachella Office
1258 6th Street
Coachella, CA 92236
The Coachella office will be home to our Major Events team and will be managed by Diana Soto, Regional President and VP of Events. The Events team plans, executes, and is generally responsible for 31 annual events a year, including three events that have attendance over 5,000.
Indio Office
82-921 Indio Blvd.
Indio, CA 92201
Our Indio office will house our Core Services team and will be overseen by Katie Stice, Regional President and VP of Core Services. This team is tasked with membership services including networking, educational opportunities, communication, marketing, retention and publications.
La Quinta Office
78-495 Calle Tampico
La Quinta, CA 92253
Our La Quinta office will be the base of operations for our Sales team and Legislative and Community Affairs. Patrick Swarthout, our Community Development Officer, will be Senior on site. This team is charged with membership growth, sponsorship acquisition, and general support for GCVCC’s annual budget. The LQ office is also where Patrick works in conjunction with our Business Legislative Advocacy Committee to draft and review legislation favorable to GCVCC members and the business community in general.
The GCVCC is a team of 13 full time employees, as well as 3 contractors, working diligently on behalf of our business community. We support our members through legislative advocacy, education, networking, and other community based opportunities. “The alignment we have created will make it much easier for employees performing similar tasks to work together” says Joshua Bonner, President and CEO. “When we first contemplated the partnerships between our chambers, one of our major goals was maximizing the resources we have. We see this as a major step in that direction.”
