Coachella, CA: The Coachella Chamber of Commerce is on the move! The GCVCC is partnering with the City of Coachella to re-purpose their current City Hall facility in downtown into a business and non-profit development center.
The facility sits in the heart of Coachella’s Pueblo Viejo District, adjacent to the new library and Veterans Park. The facility has multiple offices, conference areas and work-space available in the historic building. The Chamber will continue to run a Visitor and Information Center in the main lobby, as well as helping to direct visitors for the building’s occupants.
“Beyond excited,” says GCVCC President and CEO Joshua Bonner. “When the City announced the move to their new location and we were presented with the opportunity to partner with them on this new venture, we saw immediate potential. The space is centrally located in their downtown area, which is experiencing significant development, including the new library which has become a hub for the community. This is a perfect location for business and non-profit startups to get started.”
The Chamber hopes to complete their move by January 1, 2020. The new office will be located at 1515 Sixth St. in Coachella. The Visitor and Information Center will be open Monday through Thursday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
