Indio Mayor Gathers Community To Recognize Civic Accomplishments And Honor Outstanding Businesses.
The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2017 State of the City Address, Expo and Business Awards Lunch, October 19, 2017 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
Residents, business owners, civic leaders and city staff will gather to hear the Mayor’s annual presentation highlighting the city’s many accomplishments and detailing her vision for the future. Attendees will also join the Chamber in honoring several outstanding businesses that have contributed to making our city what it is today.
Honorees include Annette Garcia, who will receive the Community Impact Award for her work with Coachella Valley Horse Rescue; Big Rock Pub, to be awarded Restaurant of the Year; Guillermo Molina of State Farm, earning Young Entrepreneur of the Year; Gap Signs, Small Business of the Year; and Paul Ryan, GM of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, Large Business of the Year.
The Expo, which is free to attend, will kick off at 10:00am and run until 11:30 am, after which the Mayor’s address and awards lunch will take place. Tickets can be purchased at gcvcc.org.
