Palm Desert – The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC) Ambassador team met last week to celebrate and plan for the upcoming year. The lunch meeting took place at Stuft Pizza in Palm Desert. GCVCC Ambassadors help out in a number of different capacities at the chamber, including:
- Volunteering at Events
- Promoting GCVCC Membership in the Business Community
- Business Walks and Business Liaison
- Connection Volunteers at Networking Events
In addition to the activities listed above, the Ambassadors generally serve to promote the chamber and assist members with getting the most out of their membership. “Ambassadors are at the heart of everything we are trying to accomplish as an organization,” said Joshua Bonner, President of the GCVCC. “Without their support, staff would have an almost impossible time carrying on all the activities we do to try and support the local economy and business community. We appreciate each and every one of them.”
If you are interested in being an Ambassador for the GCVCC, call the Chamber at 760.347.0676. The program has valley-wide team, as well as positions for those interested in focusing on a particular area. The program is free to participate in and comes with several benefits.
