Announcing a 1st Fundraiser for the California Jazz Foundation, Coachella Valley

The Coachella Valley Steering Committee for the California Jazz Foundation (CJF) is hosting its first fundraiser for this area; to assist jazz musicians

in crisis.

Date:  Saturday, October 14, 2017
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Location:  Pete Carlson’s Golf and Tennis Shop

Cost:  $25 pp

Founded in 2006, with Los Angeles as its base, CJF has touched the lives of over 200 California jazz musicians, providing rent and mortgage payments, arranging for medical and dental care, discount prescriptions, counseling and generally helping when emergencies arise.

Mission Statement: The California Jazz Foundation is a nonprofit 501©(3) organization created to aid and assist California jazz musicians in crisis.  We are committed to providing access to quality social and economic services for all eligible applicants.  We do so through a team of caring, knowledgeable professionals in collaboration with community partners.
