Rancho Mirage, CA: Diana Soto has left her position at the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce to continue her career in media, accepting a position with Alpha Media. On Friday friends and colleagues gathered at the Grand Palm Buffett at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa to celebrate her accomplishments as one of the original employees of the organization.
Diana had led the Event team since the GCVCC’s founding in 2016. As the Vice President of Events she was responsible for organizing and executing all the GCVCC’s major events, including the Installation Dinner, Annual Golf Tournament, and Southwest Arts Festival Indio. She also worked closely with city partners to deliver several major community events, including the Indio BBQ State Championship, Coachella’s Tacos, Tequilas and Chavela’s event, the La Quinta Car Show and others.
“Diana Soto was a vital part of helping the GCVCC get our very large events program up and running,” said Joshua Bonner, GCVCC President and CEO. “The Events team works year-round to not only execute one of the largest events schedules by a chamber of commerce in the State of California, but under her leadership continually made those events a success.”
Diana was originally a member of the Indio Chamber of Commerce team before the GCVCC was formed in 2016. Prior to that she enjoyed a successful career in media and found success as a small business owner.
