Desert Jet will be making a strong impact at the 30th Annual Women in Aviation International (WAI) Conference to be held at the Convention Center in Long Beach, California on March 14-16, 2109. In addition to various speaking engagements for Desert Jet’s Founder and CEO Denise Wilson during the conference, the company will also be recruiting and interviewing on-site at their booth in the convention hall.
Desert Jet has also partnered with Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) to host an evening event and cocktail reception connecting women who are interested in getting involved with business aviation or seeking career opportunities in the industry.
Women in Aviation International’s annual three-day event draws thousands of aviators from all around the globe. As a woman-owned and operated company, Desert Jet encourages women to discover and pursue careers in business aviation. Wilson has also introduced a new leadership session to the conference titled, ‘Creating Your Own Path Through Entrepreneurship’. Wilson will moderate and lead a panel of distinguished entrepreneurial women who will share their powerful stories about how they started their businesses, the impact their businesses have had on other women, and how others can also create their own future. Panel members will include entrepreneurs Jennifer Guthrie (Inflight Crew Connections), Paula Williams (Aviation Business Consultants), Abingdon Welch Mullin (Abingdon Co.), Steffany Kisling (Sky Angels), Christy DeYoung (RSVM Services, LLC) and Nicole Vandelaar (Novictor Aviation).
Additionally, Desert Jet will jointly host a Corporate and Business Aviation Event and Cocktail Reception with notable aviation organizations WCA and NBAA.
