News from the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce:
INDIO, CA – The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced one of their signature events of the year, the Third Annual Taste of East Valley. Taste of East Valley has quickly become one of the best taste events in the valley. In it’s third year, the event will again be held at Shields Date Garden in Indio. Last year the event featured 18 restaurants from around the east valley serving up a range of flavors, from Italian to Mexican. This year the event will be held Thursday, October 27th from 4PM to 7PM.
“The Taste of East Valley has become one of my favorite events of the year,” says Joshua Bonner, President and CEO of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce. “The evening setting is perfect for a stroll through the meandering path that leads you through Shields Date Garden. In the center of the property is where the live music and entertainment is staged, but the melody carries throughout the venue as you work your way through the different restaurant vendors. It’s just a perfect setting for the event.”
Attendance is limited to 400 this year, which the organizers credit with keeping an “intimate feel” for the guest. The event has traditionally sold out, so those interested in attending are encouraged to get their tickets soon. The event is presented by the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Indio Visitors Bureau, and the City of Indio.
Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
