The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce (GCVCC), in partnership with the City of Cathedral City, is proud to announce the 2018 Cathedral City State of the City Address featuring Mayor Stan Henry. The theme for this year’s event is “Progress is Here”.
The event will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs, located at 67967 Vista Chino in Cathedral City. Admission to the event starts at $55 and includes lunch. General Admission seating is available free to the public, it does not include lunch and has limited availability. All seating should be RSVP’d in advance by contacting the GCVCC at 760.347.0676 to reserve your seat.
“It’s always a privilege to host the State of the City events,” said Joshua Bonner, President and CEO of the GCVCC. “I would encourage everyone with a business or personal interest in Cathedral City to be present and learn about some of the great progress being made towards building a strong future for the Cathedral City community.”
Among the annual highlights at the State of the City are new commercial projects underway in the city, as well as planned future development. The Mayor will also address the overall economic climate and the City Council’s strategic direction. “Progress is happening in Cathedral City and we’re excited to share it all with you at our annual State of the City. But the good news is you don’t have to hear me to believe it, you can see it,” said Mayor Stan Henry about the upcoming March 20th event. The State of the City is attended annually by community, business, and city leaders, and is open to the public.
